What's New

Welcome back to the Summer term. It's going to be a very different summer term from usual but watch this space for exciting new opportunities and keep practising and playing or singing.

Share your stories with us on social media, we love to see what you are all doing! Follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

In response to the school closures and following guidance from the Department for Education and Arts Council England, Coventry Music has now suspended all face to face activities. We are working towards online solutions to enable music making as soon as possible. For now we encourage all the children and young people we work with to enjoy music making in their homes!

Check our online resources page for music ideas, evolving every day.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Big Month of Music throughout March. Watch some of the videos that were made.

Coventry Music Hub

We are the major provider of music activity across Coventry and deliver this in partnership with schools, Hub partners and regional arts organisations. Coventry Music strives to support schools, raise standards and to provide an inclusive, rich and balanced programme along with opportunities for training and development.

We ensure high-quality teaching and learning for children and young people across the city and provide a number of high profile performance opportunities which showcase talent, progression and achievement.

Music Education Hubs are groups of organisations – such as local authorities, schools, other hubs, art organisations, community or voluntary organisations – working together to create joined-up music education provision, respond to local need and fulfil the objectives of the Hub as set out in the National Plan for Music Education. They receive funding from the Department for Education, through Arts Council England.
