Christmas Festival of Voices - Participation Opportunity

Christmas Festival of Voices involves a day of music making for massed choirs with a selection of festive songs from Oxford University Press songbook Junior Voiceworks at Christmas by Kevin Stannard

. A student band from the University of Wolverhampton’s Music Department will be there to enhance the sound of your children’s singing. Check out highlights from last year’s event at St Matthew’s Church in Walsall:


This year’s Coventry festival will take place on Tuesday 4th December at St John the Baptist Church, Coventry (9am-2.30pm) and will consist of a morning workshop followed by a sharing performance parents and friends at 1.30pm for. For those of you who do not already own a copy of Junior Voiceworks at Christmas then you will need to purchase a songbook; the publisher is offering a 20% discount to all participating schools! This resource contains all of the sheet music that will be included in the set-list (8 songs to be selected from the book) as well teaching notes, backing and performance tracks to aid teaching and learning:


There are no other costs; however schools are responsible for their own travel arrangements. Tickets for the sharing concert will be made available nearer the date.
