Do you love singing or acting and want to develop your skills? Then check out this fantastic FREE workshop for 14-18 year olds on 21st January 2020

We would like to tell you about an amazing opportunity for your students to work with singers and coaches from the Royal Opera House and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

The project, Opera Nation, is completely free to join and focusses on developing performing skills and inspiring a new generation of young vocal performers. Our workshop evening takes place in the theatre at Blue Coat School, Terry Road, Coventry from 6-9pm on Tuesday 21st January.

This is a one-off opportunity to work, free of charge, with professional musicians and to gain some valuable performance coaching, so it is particularly suitable for young musicians or actors studying BTEC, GCSE or A level.

After this free taster workshop, a group of participants will be selected by ROH/RBC to go forward onto a fully-funded programme, providing regular singing lessons, performance opportunities and a mentoring scheme.

Please encourage students to take part, and to sign up for the workshop (places are limited so please do book in advance) students need to visit operanation.eventbrite.co.uk

Please contact Cathy Scott-Burt at cathy.scottburt@coventry.gov.ukat Coventry music if you need any more details, and we look forward to seeing lots of Coventry Music students at this fantastic event.
