School Music Development Plan

In partnership with your school-based music co-ordinator we will develop a school music development plan to achieve the aims set out in the National Pan for Music Education - "The Power of Music to Change Lives" but actively engaging the Music Hub

Curriculum Mapping

The equivalent of one day of support working with the school leaders, curriculum and music leads to map music learning objectives and progression of skills across the whole school to enable music to become embedded throughout the learning journey of young people and if desired by the school woven around a thematic curriculum as much as possible. Alongside this we would also create a school music development plan to achieve the aims set out in the National Plan for Music Education by actively engaging with the Music Hub.

Singing Festivals

Our singing festivals contain a series bespoke resources and cross curriculum plans written by our expert team to fit the vocal range of young and developing voices.

Included are guide vocal tracks, lyric videos, music lead sheets, CPD for staff to learn the songs, access to our singing festival at prominent local venues, a wonderful experience for your pupils and an opportunity for parents and carers to watch

Inspire Workshops

Coventry Music can deliver bespoke music workshops in a variety of genres and styles to offer your students an inspiring musical experience. The content is completely flexible to the requirements of the school, but examples could include:

• Beat Making
• Spoken Word
• Electronic Music – app/software based music making
• Theme/Subject based workshops
• Experience days or contribution to a school Aspiration Day

Live Performances

A range of  interactive performances are available. Times and musical styles may vary. Please contact us to arrange a live performance.

Demos and performances

We can also offer demonstrations and music performances for specific instruments to try and kickstart music in your school and encourage sign up for lessons.
