Discounts and Subsidies

We currently offer the following:
- Attendance to all groups for Looked After Children is free.
- There is a termly cap of £50 per term for the first family member.
- Additional family members will be charged a 50% of group cost.
- There is a termly cap of £25 per term for additional family members.
- Group members will be eligible for a subsidy if they qualify for one of the following criteria:
- Income – based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Income Support
- Income – related Employment and Support Allowance
- Universal Credit
- Child Tax Credit (as long as you are not getting Working Tax Credit )
- Remissions for multiple attendees.
- For families where more than one member attends a music group, the first member will be charged at the full rate, but all subsequent members will be charged at 50% of the cost.

Assisted Instrument Purchase Scheme (AIPS)
AIPS allows the purchase of instruments for pupils receiving tuition through Coventry Music without paying VAT costs.
Your child must:- be receiving regular tuition through Coventry Music or their school music department.
- attend a Coventry state school or a Coventry Music group where they use the instrument.
- Be in full time education

The instrument
- must be portable.
- may be new or second hand and must be collected from Coventry Music in person by the purchaser.
- should be appropriate for the ability of the child.
