Music Mark

Music Mark is a membership organisation, subject association and charity.  On behalf of its members and the wider sector, Music Mark lobbies for, and champions, a government supported, high quality, music education provision for all school aged children and young people which addresses diversity, equity and inclusion at its core.

On our download page you can find a fabulous document from Music Mark which will help you to ask useful questions of school leaders and teachers to improve outcomes in music. In the document Music Mark provide questions that will help you to support and challenge senior and subject leaders about music provision in your school. We follow these questions with a few pointers. We would never suggest that these responses are the ‘correct answers’ but they will guide you on to lines of thinking that will help you to improve your knowledge and understanding of music making in your school.

Live teacher

We now use Live Teacher where teachers and tutors must log all their registers and pupil data. This is a secure database which all tutors will be required to use. Full training will be given when when tutors begin employment, with regular refresher and update training where required. You can access Live Teacher using this link:https://live.paritor.com/t/10.

If you have any questions regarding Live Teacher please contact us at music@coventry.gov.uk

All new staff should receive an email with details about how to register. If you have not received this and need access then please let us know at: amy.randall@coventry.gov.uk
