Coventry Music are very proud to finally release the resources for the City of Culture Vocal Programme “Cultural Cantata” by Kevin Stannard and Rebecca Thompson.  This is a musical celebration of famous Coventry people and places as part of the City of Culture celebrations.

Many of you will be used to participating in the “Morning of Music” projects, well this is the FREE replacement for this year with some special “Big Sing” style events planned for the summer term where we will be inviting schools to come and perform the songs with us with a live band and lots of other surprises!  We will be informing you of dates as soon as venues are confirmed so you can plan this alongside other events in your schools’ calendars.  Ideally we want every school in Coventry to be involved with at least one of the events we have planned either as singers or for older pupils as instrumentalists.

Please sign our doodle poll to let us know if you will be taking part in this year's celebration; https://doodle.com/poll/dxgc2e8fcuwd4nvc?utm_source=poll&utm_medium=link

The link below will take you to a dedicated website which has everything you will need to start teaching the songs with your school – we want everyone to enjoy these songs in their schools and would love to see any videos or photos that you do while practising.  You can tag us on social media – @coventry_music .
