We are so excited to announce Furthering Talent Connect welcomes 10 new Hub partners, including Coventry Music!

"Coventry Music are thrilled to be joining Awards for Young Musicians as a Connector Hub. The opportunities and experiences this will create for the young musicians in Coventry and the surrounding area will be greatly enhanced through this opportunity and the network of passionate music educators across the country” Mark Steele, Coventry Music Lead

Following another highly competitive application process, it  has been announced that 10 new Connector Hubs will be joining our Furthering Talent Connect programme this month.

In this expansion, our 10 new Connector Hubs will join our existing 10 Ambassador Hubs in working to remove barriers to accessing music education.

Furthering Talent Connect now comprises two programme types, operating across 20 Music Hubs in England. Our 10 Ambassador Hubs directly support the musical progression of over 600 young people via a holistic programme designed to help them overcome barriers and keep learning. Our 10 new Connector Hubs will be focusing on inclusion and access for all young people and families in their area and beyond. The new Hub partners will be adding to a network of experts across our Ambassador and Connector Hubs called ‘Connectors.’ Their role is to connect young people and families with musical experiences and appropriate opportunities locally and nationally, sharing valuable information on how best to support their musical development.  More information about the Connectors role is here.
