soundlab

A new music phenomenon in Coventry on Saturdays. Where you will be at the centre of new music making, no matter what your musical interest. Open to 10-18 year olds.

We are looking for young people from a range of musical interests and styles including spoken word, dance, electronic, jazz, classical, and more. Come join our new project SoundLab-Cov where you'll work with a team of professional musicians to develop your own music making skills.

This summer term either sign-up for morning slots or afternoon slots running (mostly) weekly on Saturdays: 21 & 28 April; 12 & 19 May; 9, 16, 23 & 30 June 2018.

Important Stuff
- You must be aged 10-16 years old
- You need to have some musical experience either as a singer, rapper, instrumentalist (all instruments welcome) or beats/digital music maker.
- We wont be teaching you how to play an instrument or how to play existing music - this is for young people who want to make their own
- You need to be able to do the majority of the dates and pick either the morning or afternoon slot

Not sure if it's for you - come give it a try at one of our sessions to find out.
